- Purification of glycerin using phosphoric acid
- Methanol percent in waste water using hydrometer
- Acid esterification of high FFA waste vegetable oil
- Treatment of waste vegetable oil with glycerin – OPTIONAL

This workshop is an intense hands-on advanced workshop taught by Jim Westphal, Biodiesel expert and Manoj Patil, M.S. Chemical and Natural Gas Engineering. This class is currently being offered only to students who have attended Heartland Biodiesel Basic workshop or have purchased a Heartland Biodiesel processor and producing Biodiesel with our methods. This class is not for beginners or other processor users. Class fee is $300.00 per person. Due to the limited class size, payment is required upon registration and no refunds will be issued. Beverages, donuts, and lunch will be provided both days.
